Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette: First Impressions

First impressions:
1. Love the new packaging, not a big fan of the plastic on the inside and around the edges, but it will do. Big improvement from the last palette. Has a really nice weight to it as well, quality!!

2. Love the big mirror, I feel like I would actually use it, as the in the other palette its much smaller, I don't think I used it once.

3. The colors are BEAUTIFUL!! I think I'm going to love this palette even more then the original palette! More neutral browns, sultry taupes, lovely yellow tone highlight colors, and beautiful pinky/copper golds. With a touch of black and plum! Perfection!

OBSESSION: Yoga

I've been really getting into yoga. It's kind of becoming an obsession. So I was thinking of doing a few blog posts and/or vblogs on my current obsession. I'm always obsessed about something. Whether its blush, bronzer, lashes, nail polish...

So here is the beginning of my OBSESSION series:

YOGA.
There are many forms of yoga, but I have drawn a big liking to the Vinyasa Flow Yoga. Vinyasa is yoga with the flow of breath. Fluid, graceful and beautiful. And definitely a work out!

If your not as open to finding a studio or doing it in front of other people, there are options. DVDs are a great at home workout. I myself don't like working out, so something like yoga, doesn't to me feel like working out. It goes really fast, it feels good, relaxing, energizes and gives strength & flexibility to the areas that need it most.

THINGS YOU NEED TO GET STARTED:
1. Yoga Mat
2. Instructor/Class & or DVD, Youtube Yoga vidoes, Hulu... etc.

Yoga Mat:
I've ordered a few mats, and depending on the mat on the type of yoga you practice it will influence the type of mat you use. Purchased a cheap mat at target, but have found that it is a bit slippy when the palms get a bit persperated. Now if you're just a beginner this is all you may need. If you want to start faithfully doing yoga, something a bit more expensive will make all the difference.

I ordered from an online custom yoga mat company (yogamatic). It was just a bad experience. The custom yoga mat was WAY too dark and no good. The quality was good, but I found myself slipping a lot on it.

So I've have been in search for the best yoga mat. And according to consumer report and several other sites Manduke Black Pro, is supposedly the best mat. Pricy, but it's suppose to last a lifetime.

My husband, Alex, has been getting into yoga with me as well. And the cool thing bout the Manduka Black Pro, is that you can get a 85" in mat (my husband is 6'4"). I myself have ordered two, the Manduka Black Pro 85" & the Manduka Pro – Black Sapphire.

I highly recommend you at least take one yoga class with an instructor. It just gives you the basic tools so that you can continue it easily at home. If you don't have the chance you can always get some yoga dvds, or find yoga gurus on youtube. For something that is more daily, I'd recommend a DVD.

Now I have been in the market for Yoga DVDs to do at home, and I've found first off what kind of yoga I want to do. My choice is Vinyasa Yoga, researching I've found a couple options that I will be exploring and see how I like them. Here are a few I've purchased:
Shiva Rea: Daily Energy Flow
Shiva Rea: Fluid Power - Vinyasa Flow Yoga
A.M. Yoga for Your Week
Rodney Yee's Ultimate Power Yoga

I find that Barns & Noble online have some of the best prices in my research, of course prices always change so shop around and see what kind of deal you can get.

Now do keep in mind I've been doing yoga once a week, and am now going to do it daily. So I have been to a few classes, so it's becoming a lot easier for me. Starting fresh out, you might get confused or not sure if you're doing it right. Just have fun, stretch, move, and have fun. That's what it's all about.

Circle lenses have become a phenomenon in Korea and other Asian
countries. A lot of Asian actresses, models, and pop stars wear them.

What circle lenses are is lenses that enhance and create a large eye
effect. The diameter of the lens is bigger than the eye, and this
gives the eye a big dolly look. There are many different brands,
patterns, and colors. They generally last up to a year, if you clean
them regularly. Always have clean hands before touching the lenses.
You eye can get infections and remember these are your eyes. So take
care of them. You generally can wear them between 6-8 hours. DO NOT
wear them over the 8 hours, because circle lenses are larger than
regular contact lenses and you eyes can't get the oxygen it needs.

The lenses are not sold in the US because they are not FDA Approved.
However in Korea they are FDA approved. They are safe for the eye when
properly maintained and cleaned. Do be aware of fakes, the geo lenses
have a scratch off sticker that lets you know if they are authentic by
typing in the code in a site geo.fw1860.com

I was sent my lenses from DBeautyshop. My over all experience was
good. I will say they are a bit expense compared to some other online
shop I've found. However they were super nice in giving my readers and
video subscribers a discount code. I do have to say that their
customer service was excellent, super nice, and fast responses.

Overall the Geo Angel circle lenses are very comfortable. After your
eye adjusts to the lens you can't feel them after that. This of
course, may vary from eye to eye. I LOVE the design of the lenses,
super natural with a intense dark mysterious eye. I give them an over
all 10/10.

Hana SPC Barbie Black
Comfort 8/10 (Due to the size of the lens)
Color Design 9/10
Enlargement 10/10
Over all 8/10

Overall the Hana SPC Barbie Black circle lenses are fair in comfort
level. Because of the size of the lens 15.8mm, you can definitely feel
them in your eye, However after awhile this seems to fade a bit. The
design is very nice, with a thick ring around that enlarges and
intensifies the eyes. Natural design, however you definitely can tell
you have contacts in. The enlargement is HUGE!! I'd give these a 8/10,
mainly because I don't like a huge enlargement.

I purchased my lenses at Pinkyparadise.com. My over all experience was good. One thing I really like about the site is the variety of lenses. They have a lot of different brands, colors and patterns. Shipping took 2-3 weeks. Do take notice they are shipping from Malaysia, and it does take some time to get to you. But if you can wait, it is worth it, because of the price. They are mid range as far as price. However they are much cheaper than most sites that sell a pair for 30-40 USD. With each lens purchase, you get a lens case, and for last months they had a special on animal contact lens cases and I think they still have this special going on. Their super cute! They come in all different animals and colors. I would definitely purchase from them again.

Overall the Geo Nudy circle lenses are fairly comfortable. I personally can feel them on the eye and I can see a slight blur, around the edges due to the color of the lens. This may vary from eye to eye. However it does not block my vision. I would give the Geo Nudy circle lenses a 7/10 on comfort level. I am getting use to lenses, so for the moment I can only wear them bout 2-3 hours.

The design of the lenses are very unique. Some say they look reptile-like. And I would have to agree. But, depending on the color you choose, it sometimes will be more noticeable, while some will look fairly natural. I wish they looked a little more natural, however I do like the halo effect.

The Enlargement is very substantial. I'd give it a 10/10 Even without a dark ring around it, it looks big on the eyes.

Over all they look best in pictures and natural light. I would rate them over all a 7/10
